Local Jewel-Osco To Open In 6 1/2 Weeks, On Thursday March 7

The "long local nightmare" caused by the shuttering of Treasure Island Foods at 55th & Lake Park, will be significantly made less bad, by the opening six weeks from Thursday, on Thursday March 7th 2019, of the newly-constructed Jewel-Osco store on the west side of the street on Cottage Grove, just north of 61st Street, according to texts received by me this morning from Jewel-Osco.

Jewel-Osco writes to me, "We are so excited ... ! Please join us for the ribbon cutting at 10am on March 7th!
