2 Injured When Car Crashes Through House in Libertyville

A woman and a 5-year-old girl were injured Tuesday night when a driver, who was experiencing a medical emergency, crashed into a home in Libertyville.

“The car crashed through a ground-level bedroom and into the living room, where the residents were sitting,” Lt. Bill Bending of the Libertyville Fire Department told the Chicago Tribune. “The homeowners were hit by flying debris, but Bending said they were not seriously hurt.”

The man and woman who were occupants of the car were taken to Advocate Condell Hospital with non-life threatening injuries, Bending told the Tribune.
