Building At Park Damaged, Door Shattered At Sports Complex

LIBERTYVILLE, IL — The Libertyville Police Department is investigating two reports of criminal damage to property that occurred in recent weeks.

On April 25, police received a report of damage to a building in Butler Lake Park, 810 Lake St. Several door locks and handles were damaged at some point late on April 21 or early on April 22.

Authorities received a second criminal damage report on April 30. Police say the a portion of the glass within a door at the Libertyville Sports Complex Golf Learning Center, 1850 N. Route 45, was shattered by an unknown offender.

Both criminal damage reports are under investigation.
