Cynthia A. Ways was 'Friend to All'

Cynthia A. Ways, 74, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2013 at Condell Medical Center in Libertyville.

She was born April 3, 1939 in Chicago and had been a Libertyville resident for the past forty years. She was an active member of St. Joseph Church, and was a wonderful cook with great recipes. Cindy was a loving mother, grandmother, and was a friend to all.

Surviving are her three children, Lisa Anne (Steven) Zarnow of Lafayette, IN, Michael R. Ways, and James (Julie)Ways both of Libertyville; five grandchildren, Heather, Ashley, Chad, Brayden, Ryder; her brother, Bernard Majewski of Niles; and by her sister, Sandra (Zigmund) Zudyk of Florida. She was preceded in death by her husband Ronald J. Ways in February of 2013.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 2, at Burnett-Dane Funeral Home Ltd., 120 W. Park Ave. (Route 176, one block west of Milwaukee Ave.), Libertyville. Mass will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2013 at St. Joseph Church, 121 E. Maple Ave. Libertyville. Memorial Contributions can be made to St. Jude Children Hospital.
