Drop Boxes Return For Lake Co. Voters
Early voting is underway for several local races that are up for election this spring.

LAKE COUNTY, IL — Early voting is underway in Lake County for several local races, and as was the case last fall, drop boxes will again be available for voters who want to avoid lines and keep a safe social distance while voting.
Here is a look at where early voting, and ballot boxes, will be located in Lake County leading up to the April 6 local election:

The clerk’s office will be following protocol introduced amid the pandemic and during the November 2020 general election. Voters may simply walk in with their masks on and place their vote by mail ballot in any of the drop boxes located at each early voting site.
