Father Who Left Girl in Trash Faces Aggravated Kidnapping Charges

Faiz Ikramullah, 35, of Round Lake, was arrested last week on aggravated kidnapping charges and was jailed in Van Buren County Micheigan before being returned to Illinois, the Chicago SunTimes is reporting.

Ikramullah’s daughter Aliya was found wandering April 7 near the intersection of North Milwaukee Avenue and East Palatine Road. Passersby helped the little girl and stayed with her until police came.

Ikramullah is expected back in court in Skokie on May 5 for a preliminary hearing.
