LBC looking for more football and cheerleading titles in 2019

Registration for the Libertyville Boys Club's 86th season is now open

One of the oldest and most successful youth sports programs in Lake County, Libertyville Boys Club (LBC) is looking to build upon an extremely successful 2018 season, which featured two tackle football championships, one tackle football runner-up, two in-house flag football championships, and a state title for the competition cheer squad. “We have more than 400 athletes who worked so hard to not only be great teammates and competitors, but also represent the organization at the highest level in the community and in the schools”, said Dan Nikolich, LBC President, who has been associated with the program as a player, coach and board member for more than 30 years. “The success experienced in 2018 is a tremendous reward for the efforts of all our athletes”, continued Nikolich.

If you are not familiar with LBC, the volunteer-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization has been fixture in Lake County dating back to 1933. Originally established as a boxing club, more recently LBC has proudly served Libertyville and the surrounding communities to offer tackle football, flag football, and cheerleading programs for kindergarten through eighth grade student-athletes. Recognized as the official feeder program of Libertyville High School (LHS), LBC has long-established relationships with the LHS Athletic Department and the Village of Libertyville to offer best-in-class facilities and certified coaching staffs for LBC member families.

Registration is open for the 2019 season, including a $50 early bird discount. Reserve your roster spot today with a $50 deposit. Payments do not begin until May.
