Libertyville To Host Virtual Tree Lighting Ceremony Nov. 27

Santa will arrive in a fire truck to help count down the lighting of the tree in Cook Park.

LIBERTYVILLE, IL — The coronavirus pandemic may have changed how many of us celebrate the holidays; however, for Libertyville residents the traditional holiday tree lighting ceremony will go on.

To ensure everyone's safety and minimize the spread of COVID-19, for the first time, the event will be virtual. It will take place Nov. 27 at 6:30 p.m.
