LIbertyville Weekend Weather: Cold, Snowy, Windy

We're getting a taste of winter this weekend.

LIBERTYVILLE, IL — We can expect a rough weekend as far as the weather is concerned. There is a 90 percent chance of snow Friday night with wind gusts as high as 20 mph, making driving dangerous. We'll likely get one to three inches of snow accumulation.

Saturday will be chilly with a high temperature around 28. The brisk temperature will combine with wind gusts up to 30 mph, blowing around Friday evening's snow.

Sunday will calm down a bit, but not much. The forecast says a high temperature around 33 with consistent winds, gusting up to 25 mph.

Snow, mainly between 9pm and 3am. Low around 23. Southwest wind around 10 mph becoming northwest after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible.

Saturday:
A 20 percent chance of snow before noon. Partly sunny, with a high near 28. Blustery, with a north northwest wind 10 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph.

Saturday Night:
Partly cloudy, with a low around 16. Northwest wind 5 to 10 mph becoming west southwest after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 15 mph.

Sunday:
Partly sunny, with a high near 33. Southwest wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.

Sunday Night:
A 20 percent chance of snow after midnight. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 25.
