Libertyville Wins Semifinal Game With Last-Second Touchdown
Libertyville will now face Glenbard West in the state championship game this weekend.
Libertyville quarterback Riley Lees dove into the end-zone on fourth-and-goal with no time left during Saturday’s Class 7A semifinal game against Bradley-Bourbonnais, pulling ahead for a 22-17 win, the Chicago Tribune reports.
The win means Libertyville (13-0) will continue on to the state championship game against Glenbard West (13-0) next Saturday at Huskie Stadium in DeKalb.
