Libertyville's Dog Days Of Summer Returns

The competition returns to Libertyville and will be held Friday through Sunday.

LIBERTYVILLE, IL — The 11th Annual Dog Days of Summer will be held in Libertyville this weekend.

Highlights from the festival, which will be held at Cook Park, include the Dock Dogs National Canine Aquatic competition, a pet parade, a pet blessing and yoga with your dog. We've included the full festival lineup below:

Friday, July 9

  • 11 a.m.: Onsite Registration/Practice
  • 12 p.m.: Try DockDogs
  • 1 p.m.: Big Air Wave #1
  • 3 p.m.: Big Air Wave #2
  • 5 p.m.: Big Air Wave #3

Saturday, Jul 10

  • 9 a.m.: Onsite Registration/Practice
  • 10 a.m.: Big Air Wave #4
  • 12 p.m.: Big Air Wave #5
  • 2 p.m.: Big Air Wave #6
  • 3:30 p.m.: Extreme Vertical (all in one)

Sunday, July 11

  • 9 a.m.: Onsite Registration/Practice
  • 10 a.m.: Big Air Wave #7
  • 12 p.m.: Big Air Wave #8
  • 2 p.m.: Speed Retrieve - All in one Finals
  • 4 p.m.: Big Air Finals (Pro, Semi Pro, Contender & Amateur Finals)
