Local Residents Graduate from University of Kansas

Congrats, Spencer, Charles and Nader!

The names of nearly 1,350 candidates for degree from the University of Kansas this fall—representing 52 Kansas counties, 36 other states and the District of Columbia, and 34 other countries—have been announced by the University Registrar.

Area candidates for degree are as follows:

Spencer Aull of Libertyville. He is a graduate of Libertyville High School. He received a Bachelor of science in journalism.

Charles Strickland of Green Oaks. He is a graduate of Libertyville High School. He received a Bachelor of science in business in information systems.

Nader Kardoush of Libertyville. He is a graduate of Warren Township High School. He received a Bachelor of arts in African and African-American Studies.

Because KU conducts only one formal Commencement ceremony each year, many of these graduates will return Sunday, May 18, 2014, for the university's 142nd Commencement. However, some schools and programs conduct fall recognition ceremonies. A list of these programs can be found here.
