'Mile Of Cars' Could Get Tesla Dealership
Tesla is looking to move into the former Gregory Infiniti, 1121 S. Milwaukee Avenue, and has applied for building permits.

LIBERTYVILLE, IL — One of Libertyville's main sources for tax revenue may soon welcome another key player. Electric carmaker Tesla is looking at opening its second Lake County dealership in the former Gregory Infiniti location, 1121 S. Milwaukee Avenue, along the towns' Miles of Cars, the Daily Herald is reporting.
Vehicle sales has long brought in a substantial source of tax revenue for the village. Gregory Infiniti left the space empty after moving to and building a new dealership nearby, and village Economic Development Coordinator Heather Rowe told the Daily Herald the building has since been sold. Tesla representatives have applied for building permits, according to the article.

The village's Appearance Review Commission is expected to consider a request from Denver-based Game Creek Holdings, a real estate development and investment firm, on Monday for new building facades and signage that reflect their client's branding, according to the article.
Currently, Tesla has one other dealership in Lake County — located in Highland Park. There are also dealerships in Schaumburg and Westmont.
