Milwaukee Avenue to Close May 2-7 for Metra Track Repair
Traffic will be detoured along Route 176, Butterfield, Winchester and Peterson roads, according to the village.
The following information was submitted by the village of Libertyville:
On May 2nd at 9:00am, Milwaukee Ave. (Route 21) will be closed to all vehicles and pedestrian traffic at the Metra crossing for EMERGENCY TRACK repair.  The road will reopen Wednesday, May 7th at noon.  We realize this closure will be a significant traffic challenge for everyone and have worked with Metra to have the track section repaired as quickly as possible.  Alternate detour routes will be available and marked.  The main detour will be Route 176, Butterfield, Winchester and Peterson Roads, and we do expect significant delays on these detour route.
