North Suburban Wind Ensemble Winter Concert
Sunday, March 10 at Vernon Hills High School

The District 128 Community Education Program is sponsoring the seventh season of performances by the North Suburban Wind Ensemble. The band is largely comprised of professional musicians and music educators from the north suburbs. This concert is guaranteed not to disappoint attendees!
The Winter Concert will feature the music selections of Mother Earth by David Maslanki, An American Elegy by Frank Ticheli (Dedicated to Columbine HS), Canzona by Peter Mennin; Concerto for Bass Tuba & Orchestra by Ralph Vaughan Williams featuring Vernon Hills HS Senior Robert Black - tuba soloist and Enigma Variations by Edward Elgar, arranged by Earl Slocum.
Tickets are $5.00 at the door. District 128 Gold Cards will be accepted for this performance. The concert will begin at 4:00 pm in the Vernon Hills High School Auditorium located at 145 Lakeview Parkway in Vernon Hills.
