Police Blotter: Alcohol, Traffic Arrests

These incidents were among the official reports of the Libertyville Police Department. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that decision.

Alcohol
Sharon R. Estrada, 47, of 13 S. Chicago, Mundelein, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol Dec. 13 near Second Street and Broadway Avenue. She was also cited for DUI over .08 and speeding. She was released on her drivers license and a $1,000 personal recognizance bond pending a Dec. 27 court date.
Donald J. Cunningham, 49, of 2516 Elm, Zion, was charged with public intoxication Dec. 14 at the Metra train station, 200 Lake St. He was also cited for consumption of alcohol in a public place and resisting a peace officer. He was released on a $120 personal recognizance bond pending a Jan. 22 court date.
Traffic
James D. Buford, 29, of 1147 Tyme, Gurnee, was charged with driving while license suspended Dec. 15 on Milwaukee Avenue near Brookhill Drive. He was also cited for unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and not having a rear registration light. He was released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond pending a Jan. 15 court date.
