Recycling Event Planned in Libertyville

The Solid Waste Agency of Lake County is hosting a collection event for Lake County businesses, schools and units of government from 8 a.m. to noon April 28 at the Lake County Division of Transportation garage, 600 W. Winchester Road in Libertyville. Businesses, schools and units of government are invited to drop off broken and unwanted electronics and to have paper documents shredded.

The event is free.

Participants will be limited to 100 electronic items (3 pallets or less) and three file boxes or bags of paper documents. Organizations with larger quantities of materials are asked to contact the agency to arrange a special pickup.

All participants must provide a federal tax identification letter or business card to be permitted to drop off materials during this one day only collection event. For information, visit www.swalco.org/business or call (847) 336-9340.
