Expect Delays Due to Route 137 Lane Reductions
Drivers through Libertyville should expect delays.

LIBERTYVILLE, IL — Intermittent lane closures are expected to start Monday, July 15 along Route 137 in Libertyville. The Illinois Department of Transportation will begin the road repairs and new pavement markings on Buckley Road (Route 137) from O'Plaine Road to IL-83 in Libertyville. The intermittent lane reductions will start at O'Plaine Road and proceed west, beginning on Monday, July 15, according to an IDOT news release.
The work is expected to be complete by the end of August.
Motorists can expect delays and should allow extra time for trips through this area. Drivers are urged to pay close attention to flaggers and signs in the work zones, obey the posted speed limits and be on the alert for workers and equipment.
