Save-A-Pet Holding Annual Supply Drive

Items needed include food, dog treats, cat litter and other items.

Save-A-Pet is asking for the community's help with its annual supply drive that includes needs like cat litter and Science Diet food.

The Michael Shane Lechner Supply Drive was named after a man who was killed in a motorcycle accident in 2009. According to Save-A-Pet, Lechner's dog, Cain, was one of his closest friends. Lechner's family donated supplies to Save-A-Pet in his memory, which inspired Save-A-Pet to name its supply drive in Lechner's memory.

This year's supply drive requests the following items:

  • Science Diet dry cat food and kitten food
  • Friskies canned cat food (any flavors)
  • Canned tuna in water
  • Feline Pine or Tidy Cat non-clumping clay litter
  • Lysol Wipes and dish detergent
