Truck Stolen From Libertyville Business: Police

LIBERTYVILLE, IL — A truck was stolen and work and landscaping trucks were broken into at a business in the 1000 block of East Park Avenue in Libertyville last week.

Several people called police to report the trucks, which were parked in a lot at the business, had been burglarized on the morning of May 15, according to a Libertyville Police Department report. Some of the trucks were locked in a fenced-in area, but police say portions of the fencing had been cut.

The work truck that was stolen was later found on a highway near Schaumburg.

Police say the incident remains under investigation.
