Your Guide To Libertyville Days 2018
Libertyville Days will run June 14 to June 17 in Downtown Libertyville.

LIBERTYVILLE, IL – There will be music, a parade, great food and drinks and plenty of family-friendly activities happening in downtown Libertyville as this year's Libertyville Days Festival gets underway Thursday.
The Libertyville Days Festival is the yearly fund-raising event to support the Libertyville Civic Center Foundation (LCCF). The LCCF along with the village of Libertyville provides gathering space for the community at reasonable rates. The LCCF also provides gathering space for the Libertyville Senior Center, which offers a variety of activities and programs for local senior citizens.

Thursday, June 14
5 to 11 p.m.: Beer Garden, civic center parking lot.
5 to 11 p.m.: Church Street Eats, located on West Church St. between Brainerd & Milwaukee Avenues

5 to 8 p.m.: Ivy Ford/Main Stage Entertainment, From singing the blues to being sultry, she is an indigo artist.
6 to 8 p.m.: 102.3 XLC live remote, Church street midway
6 to 10:30 p.m.: Carnival. Located in the Church street municipal parking lot and in Sunrise Rotary Park.
6:30 p.m.: Miss Libertyville Pageants: Located in Cook Park
8 to 11 p.m.: Modern Day Romeos/Main Stage, includes motown classics, classic rock treasures, metal anthems, 80's favorites, 90's gems, and the top hits of the 2000s
Friday, June 15
10 a.m. to 12 p.m.: Safe kids finger printing in Cook Park, hosted by the Libertyville Police Department.
10 a.m. to noon: Children's party (ages 8 an under) in Cook Park, hosted by Libertyville junior woman's club. Games, activities and treats for children ages 8 and under.
10 a.m. to noon: Mini Manis, Hair Braiding And Face Painting in Cook Park, Hosted by Tricoci University of Beauty Culture. Services offered at no charge.
11 a.m. to 11 p.m.: Church Street Eats, located on West Church St. between Brainerd & Milwaukee Avenues
12 to 8 p.m.: Arts and Crafts Fair, located in Cook Park
12:15 to 12:45 p.m.: "Get moving Libertyville!" With Heather's Gym in Cook Park, Let's jump start summer with high energy in the park! Athletic moves the whole family can enjoy.
1 to 2:30 p.m.: Police dog K-9 demonstration, Cook Park Entertainment
1 to 11 p.m.: Carnival. Located in the Church street municipal parking lot and in Sunrise Rotary Park.
2 to 4 p.m.: RCJuggle Balloon Sculpting/Cook Park Entertainment
2:30- 3:30 p.m.: Children's Cookie Bake-Off - Cook Park, Design your cookies following our theme of Libertyville, a beautiful place in the country.All cookies entered into our cookie competition will need to be in the cookie form of a farmyard animal. How you decorate your critter is your creative adventure. Farmyard suggestions: chicken, rooster hen, pig, horse, foal, cow, calf, donkey, mule, goose, goat, lamb. Entry Form/More Info
3:45 - 5:15 p.m.: The Good Time Band, Cook Park Entertainment. Classic rock-n-roll, Pop, R&B, country and country rock
4 p.m. to 12 a.m..: Beer Garden, civic center parking lot.
4 to 7 p.m.: Petty Kings/Main Entertainment Stage, A Chicago-based band that is a tribute to Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers.
5:30 to 7:30 p.m.: The Big Cat Showcase, Cook Park variety show including trivia, music, and more.
8 to 11 p.m.: Woogie Boogie/Main Entertainment Stage, Woogie has one simple goal... to enjoy life, music, and good times with good people. Rock on!
Saturday, June 16
10 a.m. to noon: Parade. The parade will start at the Metra Train Station head south on Milwaukee Avenue to Rockland Road.

1 to 3 p.m.: Fireman's Rib Cook-Off, Beer garden sponsred by mickey finn's

4 to 5 p.m.: Jalapeno Pepper Eating Contest, In front of the Main Stage on Church St. Sponsored by El Barrio Mexican Restaurant & Hosted by H & H Productions Registration located in front of the Main Stage on Church St.
5 to 7 p.m.: Fletcher Rockwell/Main Stage, cover music, spanning everything from vintage Tom Petty, Paul Simon and Talking Heads to contemporary roots revivalists Chris Stapleton, Dawes and Mumford & Sons.
6 to 10 p.m.: Youth Stage/Cook Park, hosted by Libertyville Music Talented local teen bands take the stage. Must complete and submit application in advance.

3 to 3:45 p.m.: Fermata D'aria Barbershop Quartet/Cook Park Entertainment, A cappella quartet, in four part harmony perform popular songs from the 30's, 40's, 50's, 60's, and more
3:30 to 5 p.m.: School of Rock/Main Stage
4 to 5 p.m.: Perfect Brewing Supply, Root beer making demo and participation -cook park
5 to 11 p.m.: Church Street Eats, located on West Church St. between Brainerd & Milwaukee Avenues
Parking Information
The Libertyville Police Department shared the following information regarding street and parking lot closures during Libertyville Days on its Facebook page:
The main Metra lot located at 200 Lake Street will be CLOSED starting at 10pm on Friday June 15th for the parade, until approximately Noon on Saturday June 16th. You MAY NOT leave your car there during this time, even if you have a commuter permit. Your car is subject to being ticketed and relocated if you do.
Church Street between Milwaukee and Brainerd will be CLOSED starting Tuesday June 12th.
The overflow municipal lot between the Civic Center and the Church Street parking garage will be CLOSED starting Tuesday June 12th. The Church Street parking garage can still be accessed off Maple Ave. or from the PNC bank lot.
