12 Hospitalized With COVID-19 At Silver Cross Hospital
Out of the 12 patients, one of the hospitalized COVID-19 patients is in the ICU, and one patient with COVID-19 is on a ventilator.

NEW LENOX, IL — The number of patients hospitalized with COVID-19 at Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox has continued to decrease over the past week. According to data from the hospital, on Monday, there were 12 patients hospitalized with COVID-19, and there were no persons under investigation awaiting test results.
The number of patients hospitalized with COVID-19 has fallen over the past month. According to hospital data, the number of patients hospitalized is approaching lows seen in July and in early October.
Out of the 12 patients, one of the hospitalized COVID-19 patients is in the ICU, and one patient with COVID-19 is on a ventilator.

The hospital has a 2.5 percent 7-day positivity rate for its COVID-19 testing, which is lower than the 4.2 percent positivity rate as of Feb. 22.
