Overseas Ecstasy Shipment Leads to Raid on New Lenox Home, Lands 2 in Jail: Police
A 19-year-old New Lenox woman and 21-year-old south suburban man are charged with felonies after cops discover shipment of Ecstasy.

NEW LENOX, IL — Two people face drug charges after New Lenox police raided a home Wednesday and discovered a package of Ecstasy shipped from overseas.
Tori Smith, 19, of the 600 block of Columbia Drive in New Lenox, and Isaac Marrin, 21, of the 12500 block of Harold Drive in Palos Heights, were the targets of an investigation by local authorities, the Department of Homeland Security and the United States Postal Inspector.
Police searched Smith's home and found that a resident had ordered and received a shipment of more than 100 grams of Methylenedioxy-Methamphetamine (MDMA), also known as Ecstasy or Molly. Cannabis and drug paraphernalia were also found in the home.

Smith and Marrin were charged with the following felonies: calculated drug conspiracy, controlled substance trafficking (Class X felonies) and possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver (Class 1 felony).
They were transported to the Will County Adult Detention Facility and appeared in bond court Thursday. Bond was set at $500,000, 10 percent to apply, with $50,000 needed to bond out.

They were still in custody as of Friday morning. Their next court date is set for Oct. 26.
