26 Hospitalized With COVID-19 At Silver Cross Hospital

Out of the 26 patients, three of the hospitalized COVID-19 patients are in the ICU, and two patients with COVID-19 are on a ventilator.

NEW LENOX, IL — The number of patients hospitalized with COVID-19 at Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox has decreased over the past week. According to data from the hospital, on Monday, there were 26 patients hospitalized with COVID-19, and one person under investigation awaiting test results.

A week ago, on Feb. 8, there were 34 patients with COVID-19 hospitalized and one person under investigation awaiting test results. The hospital has seen mostly decreasing hospitalizations after high hospitalizations in November, when Silver Cross had over 120 COVID-positive patients.

Out of the 26 patients, three of the currently hospitalized COVID-19 patients are in the ICU, and two patients with COVID-19 are on a ventilator.
