4 DUI Arrests During Will County Sheriff's Enforcement Campaign
The enforcement campaign ran from Dec. 18 through Jan. 4.
WILL COUNTY, IL — During its winter holiday enforcement campaign, which ran from Dec. 18 through Jan. 4, the Will County Sheriff’s Office said it arrested 4 offenders for DUI.
The sheriff's also issued made other arrests and issued citations including: two seatbelt violations, 45 speeding violations, one reckless driving violation, one arrest for driving while license revoked, eight arrests for driving while license suspended, two arrests for driving with no valid driver's license (over a year), 17 uninsured motorist violations, one felony drug arrest, 33 other moving violations and 28 other non-moving violations.
According to the sheriff's office, law enforcement agencies throughout Illinois participated in this effort to reduce highway fatalities by getting impaired drivers off the roads and more people buckled up.

The Illinois Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over campaign is administered by IDOT with federal highway safety funds.
