College Credits: Students Earn Dean's List, Celebrate Graduation

Spring 2021 Dean's List at Olivet Nazarene University

To qualify for inclusion on the Dean's List, a student must have been enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student and must have attained a semester grade point average of 3.50 or higher on a 4.00 grading scale.

Mitchell of New Lenox Claims Steeplechase Title at Valley Championship
Junior Evan Mitchell of New Lenox highlighted day two of the 2021 Missouri Valley Conference Outdoor Championship for the Bradley University track team, claiming the individual title in the 3,000 meter steeplechase.
Mitchell became the second Brave in school history to win the event at the conference meet - joining Haran Dunderdale in 2018 - crossing the finish line in 8:57.65. He finished nearly three seconds ahead of the runner up on the night as Mitchell posted the fourth-best time in school history to claim the title.
Connor Blair Graduates From Central College
Connor Blair of New Lenox, was one of 204 Central College students who were celebrated during Commencement on May 15 at Ron and Joyce Schipper Stadium.
Blair received a bachelor's degree in Business Management.
Central College of Pella, Iowa, is a private, four-year liberal arts college.
University of Evansville Announces Dean's List for Spring 2021
The University of Evansville reported that nearly 800 students earned Dean's List Honors for the Spring 2021 semester. To merit the honor of being placed on the Dean's List each semester, a student must carry a full academic load of 12 hours or more and earn a grade point average of 3.5 or above.
The following students were named to the Dean's List: Sarah Weithers of Frankfort, studying Music Therapy; Max Malley of Frankfort, studying Marketing; and Erin Kleffman of Lockport, studying Business.
Students Named to UM Spring 2021 Dean's Honor Roll
Allison Marie Schultz of Mokena, Grace Marie Kucharski of Lemont, and Blake Horner of Frankfort,were recently named to the University of Mississippi's Spring 2021 Dean's Honor Roll.
The Dean's Honor Roll is reserved for students who earn a semester GPA of 3.50-3.74. In order to be eligible for honor roll designation, a student must have completed at least 12 graded hours for the semester and may not be on academic probation during the semester.
Students Named to UM Spring 2021 Chancellor's Honor Roll
Brendan Robert Gedville of Mokena, Emma Lochen of Lemont, Sullivan Briley Rakow of Lemont, Kaitlyn Michele Bittner of New Lenox, Emily Rose Cummings of New Lenox, and Abigail Marie Foote of New Lenox, were recently named to the University of Mississippi's Spring 2021 Chancellor's Honor Roll.
The Chancellor's Honor Roll is reserved for students who earn a semester GPA of 3.75-4.00.
"Our students on the Chancellor's Honor Roll are among the best and brightest at the University of Mississippi," said Chancellor Glenn Boyce. "I commend them for their hard work and dedication resulting in their incredible academic achievements and this well-deserved honor."
In order to be eligible for honor roll designation, a student must have completed at least 12 graded hours for the semester and may not be on academic probation during the semester.
SNHU Announces Winter 2021 President's List
Stephanie Lakawitch of Frankfort, Robert Yuska of New Lenox, Courtney Hinz of New Lenox, and Suzanne Mailhot of Lemont were named to Southern New Hampshire University's Winter 2021 President's List. The winter term runs from January to May.
Full-time students who have earned a minimum grade-point average of 3.700 and above are named to the President's List. Full-time status is achieved by earning 12 credits.
