Construction Of METRA Train Station In New Lenox
Pedestrians will be able to use the sidewalk along the north and east side of the construction area to access the pay boxes and platform.

Construction for the New METRA Train Station will begin approximately February 24, 2020. Work will begin in the middle parking lot near the pay stations at the east end of the existing platform. Parking in the construction area will be prohibited. Pedestrians will be able to use the sidewalk along the north and east side of the construction area to access the pay boxes and the platform. This area will be under construction until approximately November of 2020. Construction updates will be provided on the Village of New Lenox Website at www.newlenox.net along the left hand side under Road/Infrastructure Construction.
