Cooper's Hawk Construction Photos
On Thursday, Patch Editor John Ferak visited the site of the future Cooper's Hawk and captured these photos.

NEW LENOX, IL - It's not unusual for a village hall or city government to approve plans for a new business development only to see the project sit idle and never materialize. Last fall, New Lenox officials made a huge splash when they announced Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurants intended to put a new restaurant along Lincoln Highway, just up the road from Lincoln-Way Central High School near the Five Guys restaurant.
Well guess what? The New Lenox Cooper's Hawk project is going to happen.
Construction crews have been going nonstop since early May. Ongoing work includes moving dirt and constructing retaining walls. On Thursday, New Lenox Patch visited the site and saw at least 20 construction workers affiliated with Northern Builders out of Schiller Park keeping busy, mostly operating heavy construction equipment and machinery. Much of their job entails the site preparation.
