Cooper's Hawk Construction Summer Update

NEW LENOX, IL - One of the most hotly watched summer construction projects continues to take place in New Lenox. It's along Route 30, across the road from the Portillo's Restaurants. On Friday, Patch visited the construction of the future Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurants. A lot has changed since our initial construction story back in May.

Mayor Tim Baldermann informed Patch on Friday that it's his understand that Cooper's Hawk is still aiming to open the New Lenox restaurant later this year, perhaps in November.

Meanwhile, Cooper's Hawk is already taking steps to become acclimated to the New Lenox community. Last week, the village board approved a special liquor license so that Cooper's Hawk can participate in New Lenox's upcoming Ladies Night Out on Friday, August 17.
