Oct. 13
- Several ladders were stolen from a construction site in the 500 block of Blackberry Lane. The ladders were valued at $2,000, according to police reports.

- Robert Nelson, 37, of New Lenox, was charged with DUI-alcohol and unlawful possession of cannabis less than 10 grams at 12:55 a.m. in the 1000 block of Laraway Road. According to police reports, the officer was on patrol and saw a man urinating next to the open driver's door of a vehicle in the parking lot of Laraway Lanes. The officer made contact with the driver, Nelson, and learned he was intoxicated and was unlawfully in possession of cannabis.
- Dante McClain, 29, of Chicago, was charged with burglary and criminal trespass to motor vehicle at 2:05 a.m. in the 400 block of Nelson Road. According to police reports, the officer was called to Walgreen's about a theft of a cash register. The officer learned for men stole the register from the cosmetics department and fled. A description of the offender and their vehicle was provided, and the cash register was later found in the street at Nelson Road and Haven Avenue. The vehicle was found and apprehended by Will County Sheriff's Office and Joliet Police in Joliet. McClain and two 15-year-olds were taken into custody. The car was stolen from Chicago, and a fourth male has yet to be apprehended.

- Someone broke a window of Speedway, 301 W. Lincoln Highway.
- A man stole $74 worth of items from Walmart, 501 E. Lincoln Highway, and fled.
