Oct. 16
- A man stole $292 worth of items from Walmart, 501 E. Lincoln Highway, and fled.

- Anthony Brown II, 30, of Country Club Hills, was charged with illegal transportation of cannabis at 8:04 p.m. at Washington Street and Essex Lane. According to police reports, the officer conducted a traffic stop after the vehicle committed a traffic violation. The officer met with the driver, Brown, and learned he was smoking cannabis while driving the vehicle and in unlawful possession of less than 10 grams of cannabis.

- Someone spray-painted graffiti on the building and construction equipment at the Metra station, 201 N. Prairie Road.

- A man paid for items using a counterfeit $50 bill at Speedway, 939 S. Cedar Road. The man was provided change from the sale and left the store.
Oct. 21
- Someone took multiple items from the cosmetics department at Walgreens, 466 Nelson Road, and left the store without paying.
- Brandon Santoro, 27, of Lockport, was charged with DUI at 9:09 p.m. at Lincoln Highway and Gougar Road. According to police reports, the officer walled call to the scene of an accident between two vehicles. The officer learned a third vehicle was involved in the crash, but had left the scene. The third vehicle was found a short time later in Lockport, and the officer learned the driver, Santoro, had been driving under the influence of alcohol.
Oct. 22
- The victim had set up a sale for shoes via Snapchat. They met with the offender and provided two pairs of shoes. The man took the shoes and did not give the agreed upon $400.
- Someone entered an unlocked vehicle parked at Jewel, 475 N. Nelson Road, and stole a purse.
Oct. 24
- A vehicle was damaged after it was struck with a pumpkin in the 2800 block of Northwind Drive.
