Ice Rink At Haines Wayside Park Now Open
The rink is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 10:30 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from dawn to 10:30 p.m.
NEW LENOX, IL — The New Lenox Community Park District's ice skating rink at Haines Wayside Park, 176 Haines Ave., is now open. The park district said a red or green flag will be located at the rink, if the flag is green, the rink is open; if the flag is red, the rink is closed.
The rink is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 10:30 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from dawn to 10:30 p.m. The rink is skate at your own risk.
According to the park district website, skate rentals are not available, you must bring your own skates. Restrooms are also not available.
