Increased Fog Across Will County Following Severe Storms

A quieter Wednesday morning in Will Co. after hundreds of flights are delayed in Chicago, and a tornado was reported near Manhattan Tues.

WILL COUNTY, IL — Will County Emergency Management Agency (EMA) shared photos from Manhattan, Ill. last night, after reporting a funnel cloud in that area Tuesday night around 7 p.m. The National Weather Service in Chicago reports a Hazardous Weather Outlook for several counties including Will County due to increased fog through Wednesday night.

A thunderstorm risk is expected once again Thursday, followed by the chance for excessive heat this weekend.

Just over two dozen are affected by power outages Wednesday morning, quite the difference from more than 1,300 Tuesday, according to the ComEd outage map.

There are just under 70 delays and just over 30 cancellations for flights at O'Hare as of Wednesday morning, another improvement from the more than 1,000 delays and over 600 cancellations Tuesday.
