Lincoln-Way Score Round-Up: Soccer, Baseball, Softball, Lacrosse

NEW LENOX, IL — High school sports have been hugely impacted by the coronavirus pandemic. Now that restrictions have loosened across the state, sports have started to practice and compete again.

This week, sports teams have continued their spring seasons, including tennis, wrestling, soccer, water polo, softball, baseball, lacrosse and volleyball.

Here is a round-up of Lincoln-Way area scores:

Baseball

Lincoln-Way West High School Varsity Baseball beat Stagg, 15-5

Lincoln-Way West High School Varsity Baseball beat Yorkville High School, 6-3

Lincoln-Way Central baseball won against Marist, 4-1

Ryan Kraft pitched 6 innings, giving up one unearned run and striking out 11 Marist hitters. Turner Doran went 3-3 with 3 RBIs, including a home run.

Lacrosse

Lincoln-Way Central girls lacrosse won against Plainfield, 25-0

Lincoln-Way Central girls lacrosse won against Minooka, 19-1

Lincoln-Way West High School Boys Varsity Lacrosse falls to Marist High School, 10-6

Lincoln-Way falls short behind a 4-goal outing by senior Ethan Seib. Cole Goesel and Lucas Vallow each had one goal as well. Jack Senese had 18 saves.

Lincoln-Way Central girls lacrosse won against Lake Forest Academy, 22- 5

Soccer

Lincoln-Way Central girls soccer won against Bolingbrook, 4-0
