NEW LENOX, IL — School may be out for summer, but there are still a few high school sports teams finishing up their seasons. This week, baseball, softball, lacrosse, volleyball and wrestling still competed at Lincoln-Way Central and West high schools.

Baseball

Lincoln-Way West High School Varsity Baseball beat Crete-Monee High School, 10-6

Lacrosse

Lincoln-Way Central girls lacrosse won against O’Fallon, 21-0

Lincoln-Way Central girls lacrosse won against Washington, 29-2

Softball

Lincoln-Way Central girls softball won against Homewood-Flossmoor in the regional final, 12-0

Lyndsey Grein pitched a complete game and had five strike-outs; Isabella Wilkerson hit a 3-run home run; and Grace Erickson hit a 2-run home run

Volleyball

Lincoln-Way Central boys volleyball won against Plainfield East; 25-23, 36-34
