Lincoln-Way West Girls Basketball Advances To State Tournament

NEW LENOX, IL — The Lincoln-Way West varsity girls basketball team has advanced to the IHSA Class 4A state finals tournament. The tournament will be held March 6-7 at Redbird Arena in Normal.

According to the IHSA website, Lincoln-Way West will play Bolingbrook High School at 7:15 p.m. Friday in the semifinals. The third place match will be held at 5:30 p.m. Saturday followed by the championship game at 7:15 p.m.

Lincoln-Way West defeated Homewood-Flossmoor 54-44 in the Bloomington Super-Sectional March 2 to advance to the state tournament.
