Lisle Man Nabbed Delivering Cannabis in New Lenox: Police
The 44-year-old man was arrested on Thursday, Dec. 29.

NEW LENOX, IL — A Lisle man faces drug charges after an anonymous tipster alerted police to a large delivery of cannabis coming to the New Lenox area.
Christopher Rogers, 44, of the 2500 block of White Oak Lane in Lisle, was seen leaving his residence in Lisle Dec. 29 with a large duffel bag suspected to contain cannabis, police said in a release. He drove to the Jewel parking lot on Nelson Road, where investigators confronted him.
He was taken into custody, and investigators discovered that he was in possession of approximately 15 pounds of cannabis, police said.

The investigation developed information for a search warrant to be issued for the residence of Rogers. The
New Lenox Police Department and Department of Homeland Security executed the search warrant, which revealed an additional 5 pounds of cannabis, over 200 vials used with electronic cigarettes, that initial testing indicates contain suspected THC, and an unknown quantity of mints that initial tests indicated contain a methamphetamine.

Rogers was subsequently charged with possession of cannabis with the intent to deliver, possession of cannabis over 5000 grams, and cannabis trafficking.
