Lost And Found Pets Of Will County: Week Of July 15
Patch has created a list of animals who were recently lost or animals who were found and picked up by Will County Animal Control.
WILL COUNTY, IL — A lost dog or cat can be a pet owner's worst nightmare. Families often cover towns in 'lost pet' flyers and reach out on social media for help. The Will County Animal Control is one resource in Will County that shares lost and found animals Facebook page.
For those who may be searching for a pet, or if you have seen a lost animal and are trying to report it, Patch has created a list of animals who were recently lost or picked up by Will County Animal Control.
Mokena

- UPDATE: Mama has been found. A cat, Mama, has been missing since July 6. She is a tortoiseshell domestic medium hair mix. She was last seen near Front and Mokena streets.

- Will County Animal Control picked up a male Pomeranian mix on July 10. The dog had no microchip.
Shorewood
- A cat, Finnegan or "Finn," was lost in Shorewood on July 7. He is a Siamese mix and was last seen near Ryan Lane and Wintercrest.
Manhattan
- A stray dog was picked up in Manhattan by Will County Animal Control. The cocker spaniel was picked up near St. Patrick's church and has no microchip.
Plainfield
- A stray female pit bull was found in Plainfield on July 12. The dog has no microchip.
Wilmington
- Two stray dogs were found in Wilmington on July 13. Both have no microchip.
For more information, call Will County Animal Control at (815) 462-5633. The organization does not have the ability to keep strays for long, and will give the dog over to an adoption facility.
