Matthew A. Duque, age 40, of Chicago, died Thursday, May 5, 2016. He was born on June 8, 1975 to his beloved mother Rose L. Duque. His family current resides in New Lenox.
Matt was currently working for The Hotrod Barn in Seneca, Illinois. Matt was an avid motorcycle and car enthusiast. Matt was a person who loved music, making people laugh and smile. Matt was a jokester with an infectious laugh like no other. He was a people person and held a special place in his heart for the ones he loved. Matt will always be remembered as a loving boyfriend, father, and friend.
Matt is survived by his beloved children Mag, Matt "Fav", and Emma Duque, Loving Boyfriend of Christine Peterson, Loving Step-Father to Jazmin Kamba and Makayla Landefeld, Loving cousin to Tina Tamez-Schultz and Margaret Alvarez; and several other loving family members.

Mass for Matt will be held on Friday, May 13, 2016 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at St. Gerald Church, 9300 South Central Avenue, in Oak Lawn. A visitation will be held on Friday, May 13, 2016 from 2 to 8 p.m. at the Richard-Midway Funeral home, 5749 Archer Avenue (corner of Lorel). Cremation Private.
