
NEW LENOX, IL — The FBI is investigating following a bank robbery in New Lenox Wednesday afternoon.
The robbery took place at BMO Harris Bank, located at 360 W. Maple St.. A weapon was not displayed, and New Lenox Police Chief Bob Sterba said one was not implied. He walked into the bank and demanded money.
The suspect fled westbound on foot. He is described as a white male, 5-foot-8 to 5-foot-10, mid-40s, of medium build. He was wearing a grey sweatshirt.

The robbery occurred at 12:18 p.m., according to FBI Chicago Media Coordinator Garrett Croon.
