Police Hunt Suspect in Convenience Store Robbery
The robbery took place early Wednesday morning.
NEW LENOX, IL — A 7-Eleven in New Lenox at Laraway and Nelson roads was robbed at gunpoint Wednesday around 4:30 a.m., police said.
The suspect is described as a mid-20s, 6-foot-tall black or Hispanic male dressed all in black, who carried both a stun gun and handgun during the crime. The offender fled on foot in the direction of Nelson Road and got into an unknown vehicle.
No one was injured during the crime.
