New Lenox COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic Set For March 24-25
Registration opens at 3 p.m. March 18 for residents 65 and older.
I am pleased to announce that the Village of New Lenox, along with our partners at the Will County Health Department, Jewel/Osco Pharmacy, Lincoln Way High School and the New Lenox Township, will be hosting a Covid-19 vaccine clinic on March 24th (Lincoln Way Central Auditorium) and March 25th (Lincoln Way West Auditorium) from 8am until 4pm.

These appointments are geared toward those that are 65 years of age and older. Even though some parts of the State have moved on to those with other health conditions, the limited number of vaccines made available to Will County still has us administering to those in the first phase of 1A and 1B with senior citizens included.
There will be 800 appointments taken for each day. The Pfizer vaccine will be administered so you must be able to make your 2nd shot appointment 28 days later. Once you schedule your first appointment you will be automatically scheduled for the second shot. You will be emailed with the details.

The New Lenox Township Senior Transportation Department will provide rides to any senior living in the Village of New Lenox or New Lenox Township. Please contact them at 815 485-6431 by Monday, March 22nd to schedule a ride if needed. They will have limited availability. Temperature screening and masks will be required.
All other information you need will be provided when you sign up tomorrow. Please let your family members and friends know about tomorrow's sign up. I am posting this now to give everyone advanced notice and an equal opportunity to sign up.
