New Lenox Easter Weekend Weather: Rain Leads To Sun

The rain we're seeing today should subside a bit on Friday, then come back Saturday.

NEW LENOX, IL — The rain leading into the weekend should give way to a sunny Sunday, according to the National Weather Service. A hazardous weather outlook was issued by the service, warning of a river remaining in flood Thursday and a high wind risk over the weekend.

Friday will gradually become sunny throughout the day with a high around 50, and rain is expected Friday night through Saturday morning. There's an 80 percent chance of rain Saturday.

Easter Sunday will be mostly sunny with a high temperature in the high 30's.

The hazardous weather outlook is warning that sections of the Kankanee River will remain in flood Thursday and a limited no-thunderstorm wind risk on Saturday.
