Keep an eye out for the collection sites Friday, July 8 and Saturday, July 9.

New Lenox Fire Protection District (NLFPD) firefighters will be hitting the streets later this week to support the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) with their Annual Boot Drive.
On Friday, July 8 from 3 to 6p.m., and Saturday, July 9 from 9 a.m. to 12p.m. NLFPD firefighters will be collecting money at the intersections of Francis Road and Cedar Road, as well as Nelson Road and Laraway Road.
“We’d love to see the residents of New Lenox and area communities join us in our campaign to fill the boot,” said NLFPD Chief Steve Engledow. “In the past we have been able to raise around $3,500 for the MDA and we hope to exceed that amount this year.”
