New Lenox Lions Club to Host Annual 'Garden Party Fashion Show'
Funds raised at the March 27 event will help provide eye exams and glasses, access to vision and hearing testing for children in need.

NEW LENOX, IL — Each spring the New Lenox Lions Club hosts its annual Garden Party Fashion Show. This year’s event will be held on Saturday, March 26, 2017 at 1:30 p.m. at the VFW Post 9545, 323 Old Hickory Rd., in New Lenox.
“This is the ninth year for the show,” said Lisa Kline, Fashion Show Chairperson. “We love that the Lions Club brings together our local business owners for this event and uses local ladies as models. I can’t wait to see the different looks that walk the runway this year.”
The 2017 show will feature fashions form Flirty on 30 Boutique, Moody Blues, and Simply Rose Boutique, with state decorations provided by An English Garden. The Lions Club is excited to welcome back Carol McGowan from WCCQ 98.3 FM as our event MC!

“I’ve had the pleasure of modeling in the show for the past two years. It is so much fun; a great mother-daughter event—a really lovely way to spend the afternoon benefiting a great cause,” said Emily Johnson, CEO, New Lenox Chamber of Commerce and New Lenox Village Trustee.
Tickets for the show are $25 per person and include soup, salad, dessert buffet, and wine. Tickets are available by contacting Lisa Kline at 815-744-6668. There is also a silent auction, 50/50 raffle, door prizes and various local vendors. Funds raised help provide eye exams and glasses, access to vision and hearing testing for children, Christmas baskets to families in need, scholarships to area students, and much more.
