New Lenox Man Dies in Rollover Crash

He was ejected from the vehicle after losing control. The crash occurred Thursday in Grundy County.

Grundy County Sheriff's police are investigating a rollover crash that killed a New Lenox man Thursday.

Preliminary investigation indicates that 40-year-old Matthew Duque was traveling on Marseilles Road just East of Nettle Creek Road when for unknown reasons lost control of his vehicle, the vehicle rolled several times and he was ejected out of the vehicle. Duque was the only occupant in the vehicle at that time and was taken to Morris Hospital. He pronounced dead in the emergency room shortly before 3 p.m.

An examination was scheduled for Friday morning.

The crash remains under investigation by the Coroner’s Office and the Grundy County Sheriff’s Department.
