New Lenox Pilates Studio Offers Online Classes
The studio has had to close due to the coronavirus, but classes are still being offered online.

NEW LENOX, IL — A New Lenox pilates studio has turned to online classes to keep its customers active during these difficult times. Move Pilates Studio, 327 W. Maple St., offers online classes for mat pilates, barre and HIIT workouts now that the studio has closed due to the coronavirus.
Owner Ellen Foody said there is a one-time fee of $50 to gain access to the online classes.

New classes are added daily, and there are a variety of class lengths and classes are for all levels. The classes are accessed via a private Facebook page, but there are other options for those who don't have Facebook. The one-time fee grants video access which will never expire.
"It has been great so far!" Foody told Patch. "People have loved being able to log on when it is convenient for them and to do it in the comfort of their own home while still having the studio experience of me leading them and cueing them as I would in the studio."

Foody said she got the idea from other pilates studios and people she knows.
"It has been amazing to see instructors all over the world adapt and jump into the online teaching world so quickly and professionally," Food said. "I’m so happy to be able to offer this to my clients who know that they need to keep moving, especially in these times."
So far, about 30 of New Lenox's small local businesses have filled out Patch's simple online survey to let everyone know they are open and their current hours of operations during the coronavirus outbreak.
