NEW LENOX, IL - New Lenox officials announced shortly after 8 p.m. that the fireworks show will not take place at dusk, which is roughly 9:20 p.m. "Due to weather, all the rest of this evening's 4th of July Fireworks celebration has to be cancelled. Fireworks are rescheduled for Friday night!"
The rescheduled show will take place at New Lenox Commons, 101 Veterans Parkway.
