New Lenox Woman Dies Week After Crest Hill Crash

CREST HILL, IL — A New Lenox woman died Tuesday, eight days after she was involved in a Renwick Road crash, the Will County Coroner's Office. Officials said Patricia Czerwinski was the driver of a vehicle that struck another vehicle July 1 on Renwick about a mile east of Borio Drive.

The coroner's office said Czerwinski was pronounced dead at 7:13 p.m. July 9 at AMITA Health Saint Joseph Medical Center in Joliet.

According to her obituary, Czerwinski was a 74-year-old mother of three and grandmother of five. Visitation and funeral services were slated for Saturday, July 13.
