In the competitive restaurant business, it takes hard work and a customer-focused attitude to keep customers coming in the door. Dave and Mike Ferrentino, the new owners of Badda Bing’s Italian Beef and Sausage restaurant, have been rolling up their sleeves for the past few months to reinvigorate this establishment serving the New Lenox community. They have been paying close attention to customer comments and have responded by investing in an interior makeover and adding personal attention and detail to improve menu items.

“There are a lot of restaurants that do what we do,” says Mr. Ferrentino, “but when there are more restaurants around, we all have to be more competitive and more serious. Competition inspires us to try harder and make a better product and a great overall customer experience with every visit.”

Located just a few miles east of Chicagoland Speedway, Badda Bing’s will be hosting “Race Week” beginning on September 7, with designated food specials and surprises. On Thursday, September 11, Tyler Reddick, driver of the #19 for Brad Keselowski Racing, in NASCAR’s Truck Series will be on hand at 6 p.m. to meet and greet race fans, sign autographs and give away some prizes to a few lucky fans.

“With the speedway right down Laraway Road, it seemed like a good idea to bring NASCAR and hopefully some NASCAR fans to Badda Bing’s to have fun,” Ferrentino said, “and experience the improvements that we have made to the place since we became the owners this past May.”

After earning praise from family and friends for their home cooking and family recipes, Dave and Mike Ferrentino decided not to ignore the comments made when people said, “You know, you should open your own restaurant and sell this stuff.”

Baada Bing’s serves their own special, slow-roasted Italian beef sandwiches seasoned with a variety of spices from their own recipe, along with tasty Italian sausage and a variety of other casual menu items served hot to order, never reheated. The restaurant is located at 2001 Calistoga Dr, New Lenox, near Laraway and Cedar Roads and is open seven days a week. For hours and a complete menu visit www.baddabings.com.
